How to Merge PDF Files Offline (No Upload Needed)
Most "merge PDF" websites ask you to upload your files to their server. If your PDFs are contracts, payslips, ID copies or client documents, you may prefer that they never leave your computer. Here is how to merge PDFs entirely on your own device.
Step by step
- Open the free DIL Lite tool in your browser (or download it from Gumroad to keep a copy that works with no internet at all).
- Choose Merge PDFs on the left.
- Drop your PDF files onto the box, or click it to choose them. You can add files in several rounds.
- Use the ↑ and ↓ arrows to put the files in the order you want, or ✕ to remove one.
- Press Merge PDFs, then Download merged.pdf.

- Your files are processed inside your browser. They are not uploaded anywhere.
- Pages are copied as they are, so quality is not reduced.
- Bookmarks and interactive form fields from the original files may not carry over to the merged file.
- Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first.
- Very large sets of files depend on your computer's memory.
